  I was a resident at the Cambridge for 3 years and I loved this apartment more then any other place I've lived. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THIS IS LOW INCOME HOUSING. With that being said and the location it is in, you shouldn't have much to complain about if you use your head. Downtown it self is a very diverse neighborhood to live in, but if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. Karen is a very sweet and understanding landlord. The people who talk bad about her are afraid of her because she's not scared to take action if she sees something suspicious. All of my maintenance needs were met, the fact the heater is on a temperature gauge always kept me warm and toasty in the winter, even though the building is old it was very nicely taken care of, the ceilings were very high, the space was unbeatable and all of my friends were extremely jealous of my apartment. Not to mention was it was an old hotel, I could almost never hear my neighbors. I did not want to leave this apartment!!
