  I lived here a few years back and would only recommend it if you can't afford better. The building is dingy, the apartments are dingy, and you'll spend most of your time at home inhaling cigarette smoke if you live above the doorway. All that aside, my 1 star is primarily because they'll try to deprive you of your security deposit no matter how clean your apartment is. They tried to keep all but $60 of mine despite that it was just as clean as when I moved in. They only backed down and agreed to return 50% once I sent them a copy of my small claims complaint that I fully intended to file once I was able. At that point they suddenly, supposedly realized that somebody who no longer worked there (of course, can't scapegoat somebody who still is there) messed up in assessing our cleaning fees....right. I should have taken them to small claims for the rest, but decided it just wasn't worth my time or the stress.
