- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★A few years ago, I had read in a guidebook that Alpine Ascents was the premier guiding group for mountain climbing. I recently embarked with them on the 3 Day Rainier climb and they did not disappoint. I had no mountaineering experience yet between Gordon, the gear team and the guides, I was able to experience The most remarkable physical challenge of my life. With the guides, I decided not to summit which was a great decision. Because this was a positive first experience, I can imagine training for Mt. Baker and Kilimanjaro in the future.
